Event description

Description

We are delighted to announce CRNI's biennial conference will take place on 27th September at the Smock Alley Theatre.

Since the final episode of Blue Planet II took an unflinching look at the impact of human activity on marine life, there has been a sustained and widespread campaign against single use plastics. But how is this impacting our everyday behaviour, and is this translating to more conscious consumerism and more reuse or repair in our home and business?

With speakers from across retail, authorities and research institutes, this conference will explore from all angles in a highly interactive way how to change habits to make reuse part of our everyday lives at home and in business.

The exciting speakers lineup includes Eamon Ryan TD, the EPA, Oxfam, Zero Waste Scotland, WRAP UK, IKEA, Hubbub, Distilled SCH (covering Adverts & Done Deal), Simon O'Rafferty, Sustainable Consumption Institute, VOICE - Voice of Irish Concern for the Environment, the Rediscovery Centre and the University of Limerick.

Ticket prices:

Full day - €40 (full programme - reuse in context, campaigns to influence change, lunch and afternoon session)

(Student price - €30)

Afternoon only - €15 (afternoon session on journey mapping and engaging communities).

Please note free tickets are available to CRNI members and speakers only.

We look forward to seeing you there!
