Bord Gáis Energy will host their second National Business Conference, “Courage to Succeed”, at the Mansion House, Dawson Street on Wednesday 5th October 2016.
The conference will open with a presentation from world class kicking coach Dave Alred, who will discuss how pressure can be moulded into a tool for success, and will conclude with an interview with head Irish rugby coach, Joe Schmidt.
Irish broadcaster and former rugby pundit George Hook, former CEO of Stockbyte, Jerry Kennelly, and CEO of UrbanVolt, Kevin Maughan will participate in the special guest panel. The panel will discuss the pitfalls, risks and rewards experienced along the road to business success.
A host of additional expert speakers will also share their expertise and advice with delegates on the day through a range of stimulating key note addresses, presentations and interactive question and answer sessions.
Other speakers at the Bord Gáis Energy “Courage to Succeed” event will include Dr Orla Byrne, Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at the UCD Quinn School of Business, Michael Flynn, also known as "Mattress Mick" and NewSlang's Caroline Kelly.
The theme for the conference is “Courage to Succeed” and will explore different perspectives on the courage and risks required to succeed in business, as well as providing delegates with practical tips they can bring back to the workplace to implement themselves.
