Art

An art experience like no other! Enthusiastic creative minds and budding artists alike will be delighted to get stuck into these alternative art lessons. The emphasis will be on the enjoyment and creativity of the process of making the art, where each end product will be different and unique for every child.

  • Getting our hands dirty with some pottery, following in the footsteps of great artists

  • Using unusual materials to create weird wacky and wonderful crafty pieces of art.
  • Becoming one with nature, completing some alternative outdoor art work inspired by Andy Goldsworthy.

  • Splashing and spraying paint like Jackson Pollock, creating a modern day work of art.

  • Getting tangled up in Alexander Calder inspired funky mobile creations.

  • All materials will be provided. Each child will be required to bring an old t-shirt to protect their clothes. An exhibition of the art produced during the week will be on display in the school on the final day of the camp for all to admire.
