Day Sipper Beer Festival

There's no better way to start off the new year than with a beer festival. Come join us on Saturday 28th January for a day of enjoying international and local great beers. We've put together a mouth-watering tap list for the day and divided the festival into two sessions:

2pm - 6pm

7pm - 11pm

It's only €10 for a ticket to either session, plus booking fees.

The beer list:

Founders KBS bourbon barrel-aged stout 12.3% - "wickedly complex .. silky smooth mouthfeel envelops your tongue"

Sierra Nevada barrel-aged Otra Vez 6.4% - "tart and refreshing traditional gose style beer .. perfect Tequila barrel integration"

Boundary Brewing x Northern Monk Unfaithful IPA hopped with Citra, El Dorado, Idaho 7 and Mosaic - brand new and exclusive

Boon Oude Geuze Lambic 6.3% - "a monument of taste .. delightfully sparkling and dry"

Grevensteiner Original unfiltered lager 5.2% - "An excellent, very rich and malty unfiltered lager"

Wicklow Wolf Apex Death by Chocolate 6.5% - "a delicious, decadent stout with lashings of chocolate, Tanzanian cocoa nibs"

Ominpollo Levon Belgian pale ale 6.5% - "assertively hopped and fermented dry using champagne yeast .. a simple malt bill, rich in taste yet refreshing"

Hopfully Brewing Howdy NEIPA 6.5% - brand new and exclusive

It's a tap list which would bring a tear to a glass eye. All these beers exclusively on tap for one day at Rascals HQ. We will of course be slinging out all your favourite award-winning Rascals beers and pizzas at Day Sipper and our DJs will bring extra special festival vibes.

Finn Coyle is on from 2pm-4pm and from this Rascals regular you can expect an upbeat eclectic mix of disco, house beats, 80s and 90s pop, and lots more. Finn was a massive hit at the Happy Days Beer & Food Festival here last May and we couldn't pass up the chance to have him and his extensive vinyl collection here again.

Cormac Brady & Anna Jacob are spinning from 7pm-11pm. Expect tons of buzzy dance beats, indie classics, new stuff, big hip-hop songs, and much more. Anna has established herself as one part of the Swiftogeddon club night while Cormac, a member of Choice Music Prize-winning band Super Extra Bonus Party, has entertained the masses at Electric Picnic, Body & Soul, Empire Music Hall Belfast, and Roisin Dubh Galway.
