Speakers include Emma Tyrrell, Dr. Jamal Mansour and Dr. Darragh McCashin.
Emma Tyrrell:
Emma completed her BSc in Applied Psychology at I.A.D.T, as well as her MSc in Forensic Psychology at Maastricht University, The Netherlands. Alongside this, Emma has completed an internship at Broadmoor Hospital and worked alongside Prof. Derek Perkins as an Assistant Forensic Psychologist.
Her MSc thesis, in collaboration with online PROTECT, focused on an international measure of key issues and good practice with child sexual exploitation material offenders online. Currently, Emma is working at Forensic Psychological Services under the supervision of Dr. Patrick Randall
Dr. Jamal Mansour:
Dr Jamal K. Mansour (BSc (Hons), BA, MA, PhD, CPsychol, FHEA) is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at Queen Margaret University. At QMU, she is a full member of the Centre for Applied Social Sciences and the Head of the Memory Research Group.
Jamal's research is concerned with memory and decision making about faces, particularly with respect to eyewitness identification. Current projects involve exploring the phenomenology of eyewitness decision making and testing approaches to collecting and interpreting eyewitness confidence.
Darragh McCashin
Darragh is an Assistant Professor in DCU School of Psychology. He completed his MSc. In the University of York specialising in the psychology of internet sexual offenders.
He also worked ion the EU H2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant on effectively integrating computer games and applications to support structured delivery of mindfulness-based CBT in school settings.
