Dealing With Bullying and Harassment Complaints
Wed 22 March 2017, 14:00 – 17:00 GMT
In an ideal world, no manager or HR professional should have to deal with bullying or harassment complaints – but unfortunately, even in the most positive workplace environments, these things can happen.
Complaints of this nature are highly emotive for all parties involved, so if one is made in your organisation it needs to be handled both fairly and sensitively. Our half-day interactive workshop has been developed to provide the tools you need to respond appropriately to a complaint and effectively manage the situation should an investigation be necessary.
The overall aim of the course is:
To provide an overview of Employment Equality and Health & Safety legislation and the Codes of Practice in relation to Bullying and Harassment
To provide an understanding of the resolution process
To establish a simple management methodology for complaints
To investigate management considerations for the formal investigation process
To look at recent case law and identify the lessons learned
