About this event

Energy Cork is pleased to announce that the Cluster will be hosting a major conference - Decarbonising Cork - Energy Security through Climate Action in Cork on Thursday 17th November 2022.

The event will take place from 0830 to 1330 at the River Lee Hotel, Western Road, Cork.

The priorities of energy policy - security, sustainability and affordability - have not changed, and the need to mitigate climate change is more pressing than ever, our energy landscape has changed considerably in just a few months. In particular, events in Ukraine have forced everyone in Europe to reconsider how we can achieve our energy priorities and manage current vulnerabilities.

Can Europe's renewed outlook on energy security be harnessed to accelerate decarbonisation? What does this mean for Ireland, as well as Cork businesses and energy users.

How can Cork businesses achieve Net Zero emissions in their activities, reduce their energy demand and energy costs in the face of volatile energy markets?

All of these topics will be considered at the Decarbonising Cork conference. Energy and climate professionals as well as companies, large and small, from all sectors striving to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and energy spend.

Please SAVE THE DATE now - Thursday 17th November 2022 - to ensure that you don't miss this important event.

Full details of speakers and panellists will follow shortly.

Closer to the event, you will be able to register to attend this conference at this stage.
