About this event

Trevor Boland is the Digital and eLearning Officer in AHEAD and has worked for almost 20 years in Education, including TUD Dublin for 9 years. He joined the AHEAD family over a year ago and, in that time, he has been part of the National UDL Badge rollout in 2020.  Trevor has brought knowledge from his previous role of Assistive Technology Officer that has informed the AT recourse in AHEAD called ‘AT Hive’ that advocates more AT awareness in Education and Employment.

In AHEAD he delivers Assistive Tech workshops, supports the positive message of UDL and how it addresses issues of inclusion as well as promotes accessibility awareness. Technology is his passion and imparting that enthusiasm to students, staff and organisations drives his interest further and deeper.

Curious as to what Assistive Technology (AT) can add to your instruction?

Interested to learn how you can easily make your delivery more accessible?

Trevor will share simple techniques that we often do not utilise simply because we are unaware of their existence and these ‘simple’ options can make a significant difference for students. In this lunchtime talk, you can present your queries to Trevor who will give his expert advice on all matters relating to AT. This is a bespoke workshop guided by the academic audience where your queries will drive the session.
