The Dementia Elevator project, in partnership with The Alzheimer Society of Ireland and The Health Service Executive, are hosting a Dementia Showcase: Awareness, Skills, Education event. This is a great opportunity to celebrate and view first-hand the following significant resources for dementia support, education and awareness:-
- Dementia Elevator Project training and education for formal and family carers of people with dementia, health and social care professionals and public facing staff.
- The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, Dementia Friendly Community Toolkit.
- Dementia Friendly Ireland Campaign
Please Note: This event is free for people who are over 65 years of age, for people with dementia and for family carers of people with dementia. There is a charge of €20 for all others wishing to attend from 10am to 2.30pm. The afternoon parallel sessions are free of charge to everyone but registration on eventbrite is essential.

The Tipperary Dementia Technology Library will showcase their living lab where attendees can test technologies that have proved useful to support independent living.
Display of the Dementia Elevator Innovation Award 2016 shortlisted posters.
The Musical Memories Choir in performance.
Parallel Sessions
These run from 2.30pm to 3.30pm and from 3.30pm to 4.30pm
