Design Thinking Summer Camp

Are you a young person aged 15+ years that is interested in creating solutions to issues impacting your local area?

This free Design Thinking Summer Camp offers the opportunity for young people, like you, to work together and reach solutions to problems that you identify in your local area. Design Thinking is a creative problem solving process that will follow a process of stages to guide the group toward their outcome.

An outcome could be a plan for a local area / committee / etc., a funding application, an artwork, an event and much more. The programme materials and guidance from the Trainer can be used to develop solutions to challenges and or to activate ideas, as identified by participants.

Innovating Communities is a LEADER cooperation project being led by Monaghan Integrated Development across Monaghan, Louth, Cavan, Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal. The project delivers free workshops in a creative problem solving process known as Design Thinking.

When: Monday 27th – Thursday 30th June, 10am to 3pm
