Event description

Please note the event is heavily subscribed so if the tickets are not available please put yourself on the waitlist and if tickets become available you will then get them if/when they are available.

We will now have two keynote speakers.

We are delighted to announce that we have an additional speaker. Ralf from Inoptey c will be speaking about the design challenges of developing their innvative hitech goggles.

The company has raised over 500K in startup funding and will be coming from Germany to share their journey to date.

As Designers we understand the power of seeing things visually.

As usual we try to make our meetings and topics different.

A Chinese proverb states:

Tell me, I’ll forget
Show me, I’ll remember
Involve me, I’ll understand

We very much hope this will be a Tell, Show, Do event and look forward to seeing you

Think Visual have kindly agreed to do the next talk on how teams can plan visually.

Designing plans that become reality - the visual way

Do you want to be clearer, faster, and more effective in getting things done?
Your brain processes visual information 60,000 times quicker than text. SEEING the plan not only enables you to prioritise your actions, but also helps you effectively communicate and ensure you get the right support.

Think Visual has been hard at work for the past year developing a new visual process and tool that helps innovators turn plans into reality. They call it ShapeScape. It is already getting great reviews by industry leaders such as Fujitsu and Zalando. They will share the ShapeScape process and demonstrate their tool through an interactive hands-on presentation.
Long-time post-it users should be warned - ShapeScape is taking the “post-it experience” to another level!

When you booked to attend an event at our Meetup here are some T&Cs

Please take a few moments to read all the following information carefully:

1. Admission is on a first-come-first-served basis for those with tickets. Not everyone who books uses their ticket, so, to ensure a full house, we offer more tickets than there are places.

2. We recommend you arrive and take your seat at least 10 minutes in advance of the advertised start time. If you haven't checked in by then we may offer your place to those waiting for returns.

3. We will have your name on the door but we suggest you keep this confirmation for your records.

4. We cannot guarantee admission to latecomers,so please make sure you arrive promptly to avoid disappointment.

5. We film, photograph and (occasionally) live-stream most of our events. By attending this event you accept that you may appear in our photo/video as a member of the audience.

6. If you need help with access please let us know as soon as possible. We generally pick locations that are access friendly.
