Event Details

We view digital citizenship as an action, something that we need to practice and do every single day. In today's networked world, this is our opportunity to put global education into practice to empower others to become changemakers for using tech for good in local, global, digital communities.

Digital citizenship promotes the importance of being critical thinkers and solution creators who make a positive impact. In doing so, digital citizenship is at the heart of being human, creating ripples of good, continuously learning side by side and that when we work together, we are better together.

The purpose of this event is to bring the energy of the summit and the Positive DigCit Movement to the public and to give people in local communities a chance to interact with Summit attendees to understand better what this Movement is about. We especially want parents to feel the hope and excitement that comes when focusing on working with kids to use tech for good. Of course, we have to protect kids from harm, but we can and should also explore and experience the potential good that can be done when digital technologies are used deliberately with a focus on helping others.

We are proud to bring inspirational speakers from across the globe:
Marialice B.F.X. Curran Founder & Executive Director of Digital Citizenship Institue
Curran Dee Founded Digcitkids & Chief Kid Officer (CKO)
Joanne Sweeney-Burke Digital marketer | Public sector marketing pros founder
David R. Pollard Innovation pioneer @rehabgroup. Founder @learningtechlab.
Brad Waid Global speaker, futurist, educator, entrepreneur
