About this Event

About the event - Introduction

Digital Workplace Ireland Conference 2020 is Ireland's only digital workplace transformation event that brings together the most renowned panel of global and local digital transformation expert speakers for one day only!

The keynote presentation will be delivered by John Mancini who is coming to Ireland from the USA especially to speak to conference attendees. John is regarded as one of the worlds leading experts in digital transformation and this is his first time speaking at an event in Ireland. (See below more information on John Mancini)

Digital transformation expert speakers from the UK, Germany and of course Ireland will also be giving talks. All speakers will share how organisations can implement the correct digital transformation strategy - one that reduces paper dependency, connects and automates business processes, reduces software investments, improves mobility, creates more value from existing resources and ultimately, delivers more profitability directly to the bottom line!

About the event theme - “LESS SYSTEMS, NOT MORE!”

"LESS SYSTEMS, NOT MORE!" will be the main theme on the day and the expert speakers will share how organisations can avoid the significant pitfalls and huge software investment mistakes by avoiding an "ad-hoc patchwork of disconnected systems" infrastructure, one that actually has the opposite effect to the one intended as it leads to more disconnects in business processes that results in an even greater dependency on paper, email and manual processes.

Why attend

A wave of information and increasing demands from customers, employees and compliance is washing over businesses…and it's accelerating. And wherever your organisation is in its journey towards the digital workplace, this conference will help you improve and develop your digital workplace strategy. We’ll be covering hot topics including digital business platforms, business process automation, dealing with digital natives, artificial intelligence, self-service portals and the automation of specific business functions such as Finance and HR.

The programme for the day, the intimate venue with a small number of attendees and the Q&A sessions will give you many opportunities to interact with expert speakers, solution providers and end user customers to raise queries specific to your organisation.

  • Getting Ahead of the Digital Transformation Curve
  • Viewing Information Management Through a New Lens
  • Digital Disruption: 6 Strategies to Avoid Being "Blockbustered"

Why attend - NIK HEALY, Digital Transformation Expert

Nik Healy is the Solutions Director of Convergent in Ireland (www.convergent.ie) and is widely regarded as one of Ireland's leading experts in the areas of Digital Transformation, Digital Business Strategies and business process automation. He has been involved in dozens of digital transformation projects for Irish, UK and European organisations and he provides advice and business analysis to organisations that are embarking on their Digital Transformation journey. Nik is a frequent speaker at events in Ireland and the UK.

At the Conference, Nik's presentation will initially focus on why most organisations make a common fatal error with their digital transformation strategy, an error that does not reduce paper dependency or deliver seamless business processes and ultimately results in significant wasted time and money. By highlighting this common pitfall, Nik puts organisations on the road to true digitalisation, one that reduces paper and email dependency and delivers seamless and automated digital processes.

Why attend - Customer Success Stories Q&A Session

Hearing from experts is always educational and valuable, but hearing from Irish end users (just like yourself) is a great way to get the perspective and story from organisations who have already experienced the same decision making conundrums and business challenges that your organisation may be facing. These organisations have successfully come out on the other side with a digital transformation strategy that has yielded huge positive results for their organisation and they are happy to share their experiences and answer any questions you may have.

The customer success stories / Q&A session is arguably one of the most valuable elements of the day for attendees as the organisations sharing their experiences have no motive or agenda in trying to convince you to buy their product! They are simply giving you the benefit of the positive (and negative) experiences they had on their digital transformation journey.

Hearing their negative experiences alone will dramatically reduce the enormous risks you would otherwise face if you implemented the wrong digital transformation strategy! You will also save huge amounts of time by narrowing your focus onto one or two areas instead of having to meet lots of software vendors who will tell you how great their product is and confusing the subsequent evaluation and decision making process.

Who should attend

Attending this Conference is a must for the main influencers and decision makers in organisations. CEO’s, CFO’s, CIO’s, MD's and Heads of Finance, IT, HR and Operations set and drive the organisational vision and goals to create and shape a digital workplace, one that will dramatically reduce paper usage and dependency, create business process efficiencies, create value from existing resources, increase staff productivity and job satisfaction, unlock and leverage valuable data currently trapped or lost within an organisation and deliver it to the right people at the right time to improve organisation performance through performance and analytics.

You may also think (incorrectly!) that your organisation is too small to attend so it might encourage you to know that some of the customer success stories that you will hear on the day feature digital transformation solutions for less than 10 users!

Important Note - Limited Spaces!

In order to encourage maximum interaction between attendees, expert speakers and end users, this conference is taking place in the IMI which is an intimate venue that can only facilitate a small number of attendees. As a result places will fill very fast so avoid disappointment and secure your space immediately. The maximum number of attendees is 5 so make sure to bring along other colleagues who may not be within your department but who have a common goal to create a digital and automated workplace for your organisation.
