Description

The Digital Imaging Group of the Council of National Cultural Institutions (CNCI) is holding a seminar on ‘Digitisation Case Studies’ on Thursday 9th November 2017 at the National Gallery of Ireland. The seminar will look at the practicalities of digitisation and the work involved, topics to be covered including selection criteria, workflow and online delivery of images. Speakers from the National Library of Scotland, Public Record Office of Northern Ireland, University College Dublin, Military Archives and the National Library of Ireland will give examples from their experiences digitising archives. The seminar would be beneficial to individuals working with digitization in the heritage sector, such as archivists, librarians, curators and heritage officers.
