Description
Ireland has become an increasingly diverse country over the last two decades, with 535,475 non-Irish nationals from 200 nations living in Ireland reported in the 2016 census. This increase in diversity goes hand in hand with many opportunities and challenges.
Women in Research Ireland invite you to join us for our ‘Seen and Heard’ lunchtime seminar with Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection, Regina Doherty. We will discuss challenges facing minorities in society and the workplace, and ways of building a fairer and more inclusive society.
This event will kick off at 1pm in the Paccar Theatre in Science Gallery Dublin. Tickets are free but we ask that you register in advance. If you have any alternative accessibility requirements (ISL interpretation, etc.), please notify us in advance at womeninresearchireland@gmail.com.
We look forward to seeing you there!
