Description

Nenagh Municipal District Focus Group

The 2016 Census highlighted that there are 20,639 people living across county Tipperary who were born outside of Ireland. This diverse group accounts for 13% of the county’s total population.

Tipperary Volunteer Centre in partnership with Tipperary County Council are holding focus groups across the five municipal districts to gather information on the issues facing these 20,639 people with respect to their integration into county and community life in Tipperary.
The only boundary condition for attendance is that you currently live in County Tipperary but were born outside of Ireland.
Whether you are an individual or representative of a group your opinions matter. The next step after the focus groups is to enlist the support of the target group to help organise events to showcase their cultures locally in Tipperary. A small budget may be available to assist with the event.
