Dublin Youth Dance Company are delighted to participate in Cruinniú na nÓg 2022 with performances and workshops for children of all ages, at Moran Park, dlr LexIcon.

DYDC is Ireland’s premiere contemporary youth-dance ensemble. Our main aim is to offer talented young dancers (15-25 yrs) the opportunity to participate in the creation, production and performance of contemporary dance works to the highest level of expertise. DYDC curates and produces Ireland's Annual Youth Dance Festival which has a national and international reach.

DYDC is collaborating with Holy Family National School (Monkstown) and St. Raphaela's School (Stillorgan) offering each school 6 workshops over 2 weeks. These dance classes will emphasise the joy of movement, rhythm and the celebration of dancing together. We consider that through dance we can ease all the tension, fear and stress that our bodies have been gathering. Exercising through dance can be very rewarding and beneficial for both mind and body.

On Saturday 11 June, DYDC will perform at Moran Park, dlr LexIcon in Dun Laoghaire at 12.30pm & 2.00pm. There will also be 3 dance workshops on the day. Please visit the relevant Eventbrite booking page to book for your age group.
