Dr Frances Nolan (University College Dublin), ‘Zealous for “the Cause”: Jacobite women agents and political allegiance, 1689–1745’
This is the second paper in the Limerick History Research Seminar series for 2021–2022, organised by the Departments of History at Mary Immaculate College and the University of Limerick.
Dr Frances Nolan is a historian of women and gender and a former Irish Research Council postdoctoral researcher at the Department of History, Maynooth University. Her publications include The Jacobite Duchess: Frances Jennings, Duchess of Tyrconnell, c.1649-1731 (Brewer & Boydell, 2021).
