A Temporary Iteration
Fiona Kelly addresses themes of ecology and society. Her solo show A Temporary Iteration addresses the esker's ruination from extractivist activity through an imagined topography made of sculpture, moving image and sound. A series of events organised by SIRIUS in dialogue with the artist accompanies the exhibition.

Dr Robert Meehan provides scientific and historical information about the eskers, formed during the last glacial age. In dialogue with the artist Fiona Kelly, he delves into their formation and idiosyncrasies as well as explores their ecological and political importance in Ireland.
Dr Robert Meehan is a geologist and one of Ireland's foremost authorities in applied Quaternary geology and the last Ice Age. He is a consultant in ground analysis, groundwater and surface water protection, site investigation and geodiversity.
