Event Information
Description
"At the heart of a sleepy Irish village sits a pub by the name of 'The Mad Hatters', where the regulars are not your average lot. You'll hear from the know-it-alls, should-be-county-hurlers, players, shite-talkers, and those who just want to stir the pot. But when a new face comes to town and starts poking around, the true colours come out. Some will reject her, others be fascinated by her, and some will wonder 'does she drink vodka or would she be more into stout?'
Willy the bartender has aspirations to travel the world, but instead he must make do with the madness that he witnesses everyday at the Mad Hatters while the rest of the village celebrate the annual village fete. With Mary, Frank, Garda Hickey and the boss man Martin, Willy’s day rolls down hill. That is until Afiya comes to town.
But Afiya is not here to entertain. She has come for a purpose, to investigate the doings of a greedy member of the town. Someone has lied and kept a secret from everyone. But that someone has not dealt with with Afiya, you see. She does not play games, and has not come for tea."
