Your Facilitator –Fergal o’ Farrell

I love working with individuals and groups of people who are pushing personal and work boundaries, I really admire those who are challenging the status quo, pushing their personal limits as they grow personally and develop their ideas/projects/start-up enterprise.

I have been involved in food and technology start-ups and I also spent two years working with a social enterprise involved in values-led change. Having been involved in two start-ups I understand the challenges – the highs and the lows. I have over 20 years experience working in an international retail environment in financial, business planning and organisation development roles. I have an MSc in Business Practice as well as qualifications in coaching, and accountancy.

My approach is based on the philosophy that deep down we each know what we want to do and that we are equipped with the resources and strengths to follow our dreams and to achieve our goals.

However it doesn’t always feel like we know where we want to go or how to get there.

My role is to help you figure out how to move forward, achieve your goals and see your dreams come through.

“Follow your dreams they know the way”.

“I feel very lucky to have come across Fergal’s Dreamcatcher Business Club. Fergal’s unique way of bringing together of people provides a really inspirational space for ideas to be bounced around and challenges to be aired and shared.
Fergal has a lovely subtle way of ‘holding up a mirror’ to you so that you can see more clearly where you are headed and how you might do that in the best possible manner. This open, creative and supportive environment is something everyone with an idea for business could benefit hugely from, no matter what the industry. This is a gift, if you have the opportunity to partake – don’t pass it up!!” Melanie Downes

“Tonight I went along to the Dreamcatcher Business Club meet-up at Limericks Fab Lab. This was my first time stepping foot in the Fab Lab and my first time going to anything like a business club. I was daunted, because I am “creative type” and definitely have never thought to squeeze myself within “entrepreneur” bracket.
I was pleasantly surprised at the energy of the group and the tone of the whole session – nine people from really diverse backgrounds spanning every discipline, sharing ideas and giving constructive feedback and suggestions to help everyone grow and improve their project or product.
It was seriously excellent, eye opening and encouraging and I’d strongly advise anyone I know planning to embark on a project or start- up to keep an eye out for this focus group which takes place monthly.”

“I came to Fergal’s Dreamcatcher event, with a handful of headaches. Things that I had being mulling over without resolution for a while. The structure of the event really helped me to tease these out. I was given time to vocalise my difficulties and the shared resource of the groups collective knowledge had no trouble breaking problems down in to simple workable actions.
A problem shared…” Freelance web developer
