About this Event
There is a €5 non-refundable booking fee.
All training will be held online via Google Meet.
Once you have booked a place/s on a training session you will receive:
• an email confirming your booking.
• emails a day in advance of the training with links, resources and information on the training content.
• an email 30 minutes before the training with a link to the Google Meet. You can click on this link to join the training session.
Please be aware that all training sessions for students and parents will be recorded.
By completing this booking form, you are giving consent for your child to take part in this training and consent for the training to be recorded.
These sessions are recorded for child protection purposes only. Access to the recordings will be strictly limited to the Assistive Technology Outreach Co-ordinator only.
In keeping with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), these recordings will be stored only for as long as required for these purposes.

You will need:
• internet access on your computer/ laptop/tablet or your phone (though a larger screen makes it easier on your eyes) Also if you wish to use your phone you may have to install the Google Meet app.
• the sound turned on on your device (headphones are convenient)
• if you want to ask questions verbally then you need a mic (most laptops have a mic built in or you may have a headset at home with a mic). Alternatively, you can type questions into the chat window and I will answer verbally
You can choose to share input from your camera, or you can choose not to.

• To use the reading support features in Read & Write literacy support software.
• How to create sound files of learning materials.
• How to get access to electronic learning materials and texts.
