We thank the Arab Irish Chamber of Commerce, our primary sponsor and once again Arabesque Events has the collaboration of the Welcome Café, supported by the Ministry of Justice & Equality and Dublin City Council. Also, we’re grateful for the support of the Mission of the State of Palestine and the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia embassies in Ireland. We welcome our new sponsors this year gsmExchange and Your Self Centre, their support is very much appreciated.

Arabic is a beautiful language, one of the 6 official UN languages and it’s extremely important that the young people today maintain an interest in grasping its essence, understanding its value and creative influences. This year we collaborated with Trinity College Dublin Arab society students in an Arabic Calligraphy Art course which will be exhibited at the celebration event. The goal is to encourage Arabic native speakers to embrace their language and heritage, and for non-Arabs to take the interest in learning it and understanding the culture. It is a great opportunity to showcase the history and richness of Arabic through art, poetry, music and social interaction to create the sense of importance in the language in an easy and interactive manner.
