Description
Dublin Circus Festival will bring a full weekend of incredible indoor and outdoor shows along with a variety of publicly accessible circus workshops and training space. Taking place on 8th - 10th April it is open to all as no previous experience in circus is required to attend.
Dublin Circus Festival will span across the city with the main convention hall, Larkin Hall, located at Larkin Community College, hosting an array of beginner and improver circus skills workshops such as ground and aerial acrobatics, hula hoop, juggling and much more! Youth circus skills workshops will also feature in this year's programme.
The evenings will bring incredible shows with Friday the 8th seeing a free outdoor theatrical fire show by Dublin Circus Project, followed by members of the festival, staged in the main square of Trinity College Dublin which in 2015 attracted an audience of 2000+.
The much anticipated Gala Show, presented in The Lir Academy, will feature a skillful variety of homegrown talent and international performers. This show will then be proceeded by the much loved Renegade event to get the festival party going.
The Dublin Circus Festival has something for everyone. Open to all members of the public, young and old alike, from workshops to shows you will undoubtedly be left inspired and amazed.
