Description
The Dyslexia Association of Ireland is delighted to confirm that it will be running its acclaimed 3 day Dyslexia Course for Primary School Teachers in Dublin in January. Places on this course are limited so early application is advisable.
Venue: DAI National Office, Joyce’s Court, Talbot Street, Dublin 1
Dates: January 20th, 27th and February 3rd (3 consecutive Saturdays)
Time: Registration 10.00 am ending at 4pm each day
Presenters: A team of specialist teachers and educational psychologists
Catering: Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day. Lunch is not provided.
Fee: €250.00
This course is offered to qualified primary level teachers who are registered or eligible for registration with the Teaching Council. The course may be of special interest to Learning Support and Resource teachers.
At the end of the course delegates will have an understanding of what dyslexia is, how it can be identified and how it can be supported in classrooms and schools. An experienced learning support teacher will take you through practical classroom-based supports that you can use to help children with dyslexia.
A course certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the course. Qualified teachers who have completed this course may apply for inclusion on the Dyslexia Association of Ireland tutor lists which are available to members of the DAI.
