In celebration of Cruinniú na nÓg (National day of free creativity for young people), participants of the Irish Youth Music Awards (IYMAs) along with young members of Youth Work Ireland Galway, present Éalú, a youth concert with a series of performances of original music and spoken word from young people involved in the projects.
Éalú is the irish verb to escape. The event is titled Éalú to capture how our young people have described what music is to them: an escape. So, come along and join us for an evening of lovely music that is sure to be a wonderful escape from the business of daily life.
