Description
UCD Earth Institute Earth Gathering: 13-15 November, UCD Science East Auditorium, Belfield, Dublin 4
Ours is the first generation to impact significantly on the functioning of our planet’s life support systems.
The Earth Gathering is a 3 day event bringing together perspectives to help us better understand these interactions, and to show how research, enterprise and policy can shape our economy and society in ways that help sustain our economy and environment.
UCD Earth Institute brings together a range and depth of expertise to understand the relationships between energy, the environment, climate change and hazards; to relate science to policy, and support the challenge to meet our climate change and energy obligations; to inform the public and policy process; and to commit to making Ireland an innovation hub for green technologies.
The Earth Gathering has been made possible with support from the Irish Environmental Protection Agency, ESB, Science Foundation Ireland, in association with the Climate Gathering and in media partnership with Silicon Republic.
