Eimear & Tod Doyle

Tod and Eimear are delighted to present this double headliner gig in McAuley Place. This intimate venue will provide a wonderful opportunity to hear two Kildare based artists stripped back and playing a beautiful set each for your listening pleasure!

Eimear is an Irish singer-songwriter, musician, performer, choral master and creativity coach. After lots of releases with her funk band over the past 9 years, her debut solo album was released in 2018. and has since been enjoying performing in theatres around Ireland doing support for both Jack L and Mary Coughlan Scars is a 9 track album that is deeply emotional, transformative and full of stories about life, love and heartache. A deeply personal album, it tells the story of her life and the life of those around her, drawing inspiration from both the beauty and the pain of life. With powerful vocals and beautiful accompaniment, Eimear loves live shows and a listening audience and years of performing has given her a skill at interacting and connecting with her audience. Her two favourite things are music and people. She loves nothing more than telling a story and cant wait to talk to you :)

Tod Doyle - Having previously self-released his debut EP in Budapest during the summer of 2012, Doyle who is a multi instrumentalist – spent the following years drumming and touring in various bands, both in Ireland and abroad. 2019 will see him release a long-awaited follow-up to 2012’s These Days EP. With natural gift for storytelling, combined with a baritone voice and penchant for plucked guitar lines, Doyle’s sound is unique, setting him as a compelling prospect on the modern Irish folk scene. With a new album in the works, Doyle will be sure to find new audiences with his unique blend of modern folk in 2019
