English language teacher education and development talks from ELT Ireland present a series of twelve-minute talks on a range of ELT-related topics and provides a forum for the recognition of creativity, enables unexpected connections to be made, lays the ground for productive collaborations and inspires others to try things out and get creative themselves. The topics covered can include teaching practice, management and research.

ELT Ireland is a network of people involved in teaching English as a foreign or second language in Ireland. It was founded to promote learning, development and best practice in English language teaching through sharing knowledge and experiences. Anyone with an interest in ELT is welcome to attend events as are teachers of other foreign or second languages from both public and private sector contexts.
