IPSA is delighted to present Employee Share Ownership Day 2021 (ESOD21) – a virtual event which will look at the role of employee share ownership in ‘Incentivising the Workforce of the Future’.
Former RTÉ journalist, broadcaster and author Martina Fitzgerald will be among the speakers at ESDO21, joined by Fitbit HR Director Clodagh Logue, and Nigel Derrick, Client Services Director of Computershare.
Start-up Focus: Martina Fitzgerald, Martina, CEO of Scale Ireland, will speak about the challenges Irish start-ups faces, the importance of employee share schemes as a tool to attract and retain key talent, what issues companies face structuring share awards in the current legislative environment, what support start-ups need from the Government, and what lessons can be learned from abroad.
Culture & Engagement: How important is organsiational leadership and culture when it comes to employee engagement? Clodagh Logue examines this crucial relationship, how it works, how it enhances performance and talent retention, and its growing role for the workforce of the future.
Share Ownership Landscape: Deloitte Tax Director Sarah Conry will look at the employee share ownership landscape in Ireland – the different types of share schemes and how they function, which schemes are the best fit for different sizes of company, and the pressing issues facing the sector.
