About this event
The Energy Pathfinder project aimed to create demonstration projects to generate and disseminate knowledge on how to achieve much higher levels of thermal comfort and energy efficiency in the traditional buildings that form part of our architectural heritage, in order to ensure that these buildings provide comfortable conditions for living and working, and hence continue to be valued, not only for their historic characteristics, but also as functioning components of our future environment. More details on the project can be found at this link https://www.energypathfinder.eu/
There will be speakers from Finland, the Faroe Islands, Ireland, Sweden and Historic Environment Scotland. There will also be a visit to a recent thermal upgrade and extension of a building in central Cork City.
