About this Event
Paid STEM Traineeships abroad-IAESTE and Engineers Ireland Overseas Career Evening
IAESTE- International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience is the largest global mobility program for STEM students and around 3000 students are on traineeships in over 80 countries every year around the world! IAESTE traineeships can last from 6-52 weeks, are paid by the employer in the local currency and are course related in universities/research organizations or companies.
An international traineeship helps develop technical competencies and gives an edge to your CV. Working in a multicultural environment, you learn how to break communication barriers, learn interpersonal skills and develop self-confidence. It puts you across as someone who is adaptable, ready to learn and happy to take on challenges, to your future employers.
Living and working as a local in a new country helps you develop skills, learn new languages and explore a different culture and country while meeting people from all over the world and making memories for a lifetime.
Come along to this evening event exclusively for Engineers Ireland student members (join free on http://www.engineersireland.ie/students ) and hear the stories from previous program participants. You will also have an opportunity to network with the program coordinators for both IAESTE and Engineers Ireland who can answer all your queries around how membership can act as your careers global passport.
