Engineers Week brings the fascinating world of engineering to life in communities nationwide, inspiring children and young adults to engineer the Ireland of tomorrow. Engineers Week is proudly supported by SFI and Industry leaders ESB, TII, Intel, and ARUP.
Join us at the Engineers Ireland headquarters to kick off Engineers Week with our annual Family Weekend Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of March.
Tickets must be booked in advance for all workshops. Please note demand is exceptionally high, so if your commitments change do let us know so we can release your tickets to someone else.
Please note that parental/guardian supervsion is necessary at all time, all children are the responsibility of their guardians and should not be left alone. At Engineers Ireland, we have a strict child protection policy and want to ensure the safety of all children.

Family workshop
This workshop will introduce participants aged 6-11 years to science through creative drama. Divided into the teams, the participants will construct homes and shelters that will allow them to survive on a new planet. Inspired by the popular game Minecraft, the goal is to simply invent! This hands-on workshop will encourage creativity, innovation, discovery and problem-solving.
