Event description
Galway City implementing the Public Sector Duty - Share the Learning

About this Event

Please note registration begins at 10am with the seminar to start at 10.20am

Galway City LCDC is committed to implementing the public sector duty across the full range of its responsibilities and to support its member organisations to implement the public sector duty in their operations.

In 2019, the Galway City LCDC Social Inclusion Subgroup undertook a project funded by the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission which sought to strengthen its approach to implementing the public sector duty.

This conference seeks to share learning from the Galway City LCDC project and the work of its member organisations, disseminate and discuss the tools developed, and provide an opportunity for other stakeholders to share their perspectives, experiences and ideas on the most effective implementation of the Duty.
