B.R.E.D

B.R.E.D has taken on the dutiful responsibility of opening our very first venue night on the 10th where he will set the tone and no better man for the job. Based in Waterford, B.R.E.D has been mixing for just under 3 years and hopes to start producing in the near future. He made his gig debut at Electric Picnic back in 2019 and since then has played in different venues across the country such as Pharmacia in Limerick and Project in Waterford. In the past year, he has honed in on his preferred mixing style which can be heard here in this mix he did for us, pulling on both old school and contemporary artists and sounds for a fast paced 50 minutes.

Richie Corrigan

Richie is no stranger to the scene having played around Ireland and Berlin especially with his own label and brand Purgatory, including an upcoming show in Manchester with Dave Clarke and Cailin and having previously played with AngyKore, Setaoc Mass, Farrago and many more. Among several other releases Richie also has a bangin EP on Concrete Berlin, The EP is rooted in rave music and turns to an old style with a new drive and rhythm. Inspired by Happy Hardcore and combined with the heavy techno of today, the EP is a statement of how the industry has been suppressed and overlooked. But also an opportunity for its rebirth. In recent years it has been watered down and overly structured.

SYMØNE

Closing out the night will be Enigma Founder SYMØNE. 2022 so far has seen her headline in belgium and release her first track “BIG MAN TING” as a free download, as well as “FREAK” a gritty, atmospheric EBM style release on Italy’s Insane Industry Recordings with some more tracks lined up for release this year. Symone has cemented her name in the Irish music scene in her early days playing alongside artists such as 999999999, Matador, Dense & Pika, Rebuke and more. Her mixed spectrum of musical influence paired with an open mind and fierce curiosity translates seamlessly into her sets, where she picks apart and creates an infectious fusion of her favourite pieces of each subgenre.
