About this event

The Trinity Research Development Office and the Trinity Long Room Hub are organising a 2 hour online information session on European Research Council (ERC) opportunities for Arts, Humanities and Social Science researchers in the New Horizon Europe programme. The aims of the session are :

  • to mark the occasion of the launch of Horizon Europe and highlight the inclusion of ERC opportunities within that new framework programme
  • to maintain and raise awareness on the part of the TCD Arts, Humanities and Social Science (AHSS) community of the opportunities that exist in ERC for projects they might have in mind
  • showcase examples of successful ERC funded projects both internal to TCD and external to celebrate the achievements of the awardees and to inspire the next generation of AHSS researchers to apply.
  • to highlight briefly some of the supports available to researchers both within TCD through the research development office (RDO) and those available externally i.e. through other government agencies i.e. Enterprise Ireland and the Irish Research Council
