A truly wonderful event, the annual Essential Gathering Festival will open its gates to the community from May 3rd to the 4th, 2014.

Set in the stunning surroundings of Ardgillan Castle, Balbriggan, North Dublin, the Essential Gathering Festival, will features daytime workshops and demonstrations, top instructors, inspirational speakers, and holistic healers such as Liz Svennson, Sinéad Wyse, Robbie H. Andrews, and many more. Our mission is to encourage conscious living and well-being for individuals, communities, and the planet.

Celebrating the synergy of community collaboration through education, nutrition, natural therapies and the arts: from yoga, art classes, healing, meditation to diverse creative expressions of music and creative movement, this two day event will be something to remember.

The Festival also celebrates the two-year anniversary of the Ardgillan Holistic Centre. The Centre has become extremely popular with the local community with innumerable patrons having experienced the unique setting in the former gardener’s house. It offers over many different therapies, catering for both men and women, and all age groups from new-born up.

The entire family is warmly welcome, and honours our youngest festival-goers with special classes and creative activities and we also have a few surprise's lined up to keep them equally amazed and entertained!.

Workshops and Inspirational Talks

We will have lots of free workshops available on the day including Inspirational Talks, Yoga, Meditation, Tai Chi, Dance and Painting. You must RSVP these classes in order to avoid dissapointment. Additional Information:

1. Children under 12 go free and must be supervised by an adult or suitable gaurdian at all times.

2. A €2 lunch voucher for the castle tea-rooms will be provided with each ticket sale, you must

keep your entry ticket and it will be stamped at the tea-rooms.

3. Lunch vouchers are non transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Gates Open:

Sat 3rd May - 11am till 6pm
Sun 4th May - 11am till 5pm

Important Information:

1. You MUST bring your printed ticket in order to gain entry .

2. Registration for *RSVP workshops commenses 15mins before the class starts. You must have a valid Essential Gathering Festival entry ticket along with your RSVP ticket to gain priority entry.

3. Please respect traffic wardens and follow any instructions on arrival.

4. Please respect the Castle Grounds and place any litter in the bins provided.

5. Parking is provided within the grounds of the castle.
