Ciúnas
Debuting in a sold-out show at the Grand Social in March 2023, the girls have been nonstop gigging together ever since. Brought together and influenced by their love of CMAT, The Cranberries and Fleetwood Mac, Ciúnas are bringing indie queer girl music to the forefront of the Irish music scene.
SYGH
Formed in 2023 around Kerry singer-songwriter Sygh, the three-piece alternative rock band has launched into the Dublin music scene. Inspired by Hole, Twenty One Pilots, and The Automatic, frontwoman Symone Ashley Bowes learned to write songs from a young age. Achieving a diploma in contemporary music performance and currently studying music at Trinity College, she aims to prioritise creative freedom. Powerhouse rhythm section Adam Grogan (bass) and Aaron O’Reilly (drums) are a duo who have been playing together since meeting in BCFE. For the last seven years, they have created Silver Skin Audio and Arkouda Music, successfully producing several albums and singles with various artists.
Neansaí
Irish alternative folk artist Neansaí combines a variety of Irish, English and American folk tradition with ambient soundscapes. Neansaí's contemporary arrangements reflect a deep respect for the modest charm of traditional folk while introducing fresh, modern elements. Her work is characterised by a faithfulness to the activist roots of the genre, consistently highlighting a progressive social and political ethos. This combination of old and new, along with her emphasis on social issues, makes Neansaí a distinctive and compelling voice in the contemporary folk scene
