The Third Biennial Heroism Science Conference, hosted by the Department of Psychology at the University of Limerick, Ireland

About this Event

We are delighted to announce that the Third Biennial Heroism Science conference will be hosted virtually by the Department of Psychology at the University of Limerick on May 27th and 28th 2021. The theme for this virtual event is Exceptional Leadership and Heroism: Protecting Communities and Saving Lives.

All attendees are requested to register for a ticket on Eventbrite prior to the event. You can now follow the conference Twitter account (@HScience2021) for the latest updates about keynote speakers and conference schedule.

Guidelines for Presenters

This international conference is open to researchers and practitioners across all disciplines. We invite submissions for academic or practitioner contributions related to the conference theme. The deadline for submitting a conference abstract (250-word limit) is March 1st 2021.

There are three options open to conference presenters, please indicate your preference when submitting your conference abstract:

  • Poster presentation
  • 10 minute "snapshot" presentation
  • 25 minute presentation

All conference speakers will have the opportunity to write-up their talks and publish them in a special issue of the interdisciplinary journal, Heroism Science: https://scholarship.richmond.edu/heroism-science/
