This seminar aims to explore opportunities to embed the SDGs across the Higher Education curriculum.
About this Event
The main learning outcomes are:
- Introduce the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their applicability in a Higher Education context.
- Critically evaluate how Higher Education Institutes can advance and lead the implementation of the SDGs.
- Explore the synergies between existing initiatives e.g. Green Campus, Healthy Campus, community engagement etc., with the SDGs.
- Explore opportunities to embed the SDGs across the curriculum.
The seminar will be facilitated by Dr. Mark Kelly (GMIT) and will include presentations from Dr. Charlotte Holland and Dr. Benjamin Mallon (both DCU), Dr. John Barimo (UCC) and John Scahill (GMIT).
