SEAI are hosting a one day Fundamental External Lighting LED Course, the course will be presented by the Institute of Lighting Professionals and will provide leading edge information with regards to LED lighting, LED luminaire design, testing and the application of LED lighting in external areas. Attendees will also gain key knowledge in the specification, benefits and limitations of LED technology. This course is a must for those planning, designing or involved in the delivery of LED external lighting projects.

Who Should Attend?

  • Local Authority Engineers (with responsibility for external lighting), Engineers/staff from large campus type organisations, lighting designers, project engineers or anyone who makes informed decisions on the application of LED’s

Overview

  • The course duration is one day, and will consist of presentations, around areas such as LED operation, measurement, testing and the benefits and limitations of LED technology. The examples of the application of LED lighting in this course will focus mainly on external lighting and roadways.
