About this event
The practical workshop is part of the Disentangling Inclusion in Primary Physical Education (DIPPE) Erasmus+ project which seeks to support inclusion in primary physical education. It has resulted in the development of a free open educational resource (a web application) the DIPPE website. This website was designed to support teachers in accessing information, pedagogical tools and resources to include all children in primary physical education lessons with a focus on children with additional needs. This face to face practical workshop will explore resources on this website. The indoor workshop will be from 10am-1 pm and follow DCU Health and Safety protocol. The workshop has a maximum capacity for 30 teachers. As it is free, please ONLY register if you can turn up on the day. We are delighted to invite you for tea/coffee from 9.30 and a light lunch from 1pm-1.30pm, outdoors. Registration will close at 12 midday 4th June to allow further workshop details and health declaration forms to be sent to you to complete and return in advance to allow Heath and Safety procedures to be implemented. We would be delighted to see you for the practical indoor workshop as we draw towards the end of a memorable school year. Please share the event with your colleagues and friends. The workshop is being hosted by DCU a partner in the Erasmus project. The Irish Primary PE Association is an associate partner.
