Event Information
About this Event
Looking for a fun festive activity for all the family? Join us at the Botanic Gardens for some fresh air and Christmas cheer. We will show you our favourite seasonal plants and talk about traditions from around the world.
Find out where the magical mistletoe grow, how spiders invented tinsel, why Brussel sprouts are popular at Christmas, and much more…
On tour, you will gain access to some behind-the-scenes areas which are closed to the general public at this time. Our experienced guides will also tell you about the fascinating history of the National Botanic Gardens.
Please note that for now the glasshouses remain closed to the public, so our tours will take place outdoors.
Tours will take place with a minimum of 2 people, maximum of 12 (1 guide to every 6 visitors)
