Participants will be welcomed to the Liston Family organic farm just outside Croom, Co. Limerick where they will see first-hand how a properly designed integrated constructed wetland can fulfil multiple roles on a working farm. From filtering and cleaning to providing wet woodland and open water habitats for wildlife, participants will learn all about the benefits of farmland wetlands. There will also be ample opportunity to experience the diversity of wildlife that the Liston Family Farm wetland supports and learn how to use aquatic wildlife to classify your own pond.
