Féile Nasc is a Folk and Traditional Music Festival that takes place in the iconic Marlay Park, Baile Átha Cliath. Those in attendance will celebrate together the magical role played by our music in creating a bond between the people of Ireland and beyond. There will be a special emphasis on showcasing local musicians as well as more well-known national artists.
This years festival will also feature talks and poetry on the theme of biodiversity, sustainability and new ideas. Local crafts people and artists will also be displaying their work which will be available for sale.
Children are central to the ethos and vision of Féile Nasc. Kids activities will include Forest Activities , yoga, puppet shows, face painting, drumming workshops and much more. Beidh gníomhaíochtaí na bpáistí i nGaeilge den chuid is mó.
Féile Nasc is run on an eco-friendly basis with all vendors committing to the use of compostable packaging and locally sourced food. Beer will also be supplied by local brewers. Last years festival was 99% plastic free.
We will welcome suggestions as to how we can improve our environmental sustainability in the coming years. The beautiful trees and shrubs that will provide the natural backdrop for the Féile will be focal points within the festival area.
Féile Nasc strongly encourages those attending the festival to come on foot or by public transport where possible. Festival parking will be limited to the overflow section of the main Grange Road car park.
Táimid ag súil go mór le sibh a fheiceáil!
