Description

Come and join this workshop for a no-nonsense introduction into the simple art of making delicious fermented foods. Everybody's talking about a revolution in gut health now and adding these probiotic foods to your diet will aid digestion, make vitamins and enzymes more available to you. Anybody following a ketogenic diet needs to know how to reduce your carbohydrate intake and this is what fermenting does to your vegetables. Vegans also be mindfull to get enough good bacteria to feed that healthy gut flora. In this two hour workshop we will cover all tha baiscs so you can go home and get started straight away, from sauerkraut, kimchi, pickled veg, kombucha and kefir, this is all you need. I will provide lots of samples to taste on the night and give you recipes to take home too. I will have copies of my two books Bread on the Table and Val's Kitchen for sale too, great presents for you and your friends!
