Bray Summerfest was founded in 1981 and continues to be Ireland’s largest free summer festival. In 2012, over 120,000 visitors came to Bray, with 80,000 in attendance on the day of the Air Spectacular. During the 2012 festival the facebook page reached over 24,000 people on a weekly basis and the website had over 57,000 hits and the Bray Summerfest YouTube page had 19,000 views of its video content. The festival is recognised as a main tourist driver in North Wicklow and brings some €8m in economic benefit to the area whilst maintaining its community focus and providing the best in entertainment value. Bray Summerfest is a not for profit, free event that is kindly funded by our kind ponsors from various local businesses.
