About this event
This 4 hour workshop is for actors who are hoping to get screen acting experience.
This short two day session will be very practical and fun and will include talking through how you might approach a scene on the first session and then going in front of a camera in the WFC space with a basic set on the second session.
Andrew will also answer any specific questions and would welcome them in advance
He will also talk about his own career and what type of things can help when going for auditions and seeking acting roles.
Andrew originally hails from Waterford. A graduate of the renowned Bristol Old Vic Theatre School Andrew has worked with award winning directors in some of the theatre industries leading companies in both Ireland and England (RSC, Old Vic and Abbey Theatre). He has toured internationally in award winning productions and created his own solo theatre work.
On screen he’s worked on productions for the BBC, ITV, Channel 5 and RTE appearing in programmes such as Doctor Who, Mr Selfridge, The Holiday and Fair City.
Workshop Times: Saturday October 15th: 11am - 1pm and Sunday October 16th: 12pm - 2pm.
