Film Network Ireland is very Proud to announce our new series of Acting Classes for a younger audience with Star of Red Rock and Blood 'Darragh O'Toole'. Over four weeks in Jan 2020.

Have you a young person in your life who has a flair for performance, or perhaps would benefit from a confidence boost, or perhaps is looking to get into Film and Television in s professional manner? This may, be of interest to them.

This would make an awesome Christmas or Birthday Gift. Encourage a young persons creativity this Christmas.

Darragh O’Toole is a 27 year old Irish actor who has been working extensively in the Irish Film & TV industry for the past several years. Originally from the Midlands (Tullamore, Co.Offaly) Darragh has amassed a healthy and substantial body of work in a relative short amount of time.

Such credits include the critically acclaimed “Red Rock” for Virgin Media/BBC – where Darragh played the series regular role of Conor Tyrell. Having been trusted with the meaty role of a middle class heroin addict, Darragh had the opportunity to work with a host of Ireland & the UK’s top directors many of whom he continues to collaborate with to this day. Other credits include the 2017 IFTA winning Feature Film, “A Date For Mad Mary”, “Moone Boy” and among others the Feature Film “SOUTH”. Darragh can next be seen starring in a co-leading role opposite “Line of Duty’s” Adrian Dunbar in the much anticipated second series of “Blood” for Virgin Media/Channel 5 UK which will be hitting Irish and UK Television screens this February. Additionally Darragh has recently stepped into the production side of things both co-producing and acting in the leading role for the short film “Contra”. Contra is expected to begin it’s film festival journey in early 2020.

While not working on Film & TV sets, Darragh has been working around the country as a drama facilitator specifically focusing on screen acting.

From January 11th, OVER FOUR SAT SESSIONS WEEKLY, Darragh in association with Film Network Ireland are delighted to offer workshops from 12pm – 1:30pm at Dublin Business School on Balfe Street, Just a couple of doors down from the Westbury Hotel just off Grafton Street, Dublin.
