A food and drink showcase where you get told the story, see the product and taste the best of local produce.
About this event
The changing attitude of people in Ireland to a more environmentally concious way of living is creating a trend in local, sustainable food production and purchase. This event hopes to create stronger links between those who are already producing food and drinks, those who are interested in learning how they could become a producer and those who are interested in using local produce.
There will be talks from local food producers, who will tell their unique stories of what lead them to this work and why they chose the product they produce.
Producers will be able to display their product and all their contact information etc. but there can be no sales on the day.
There will be a lunch time buffet prepared by An Chistin level 5 Professional Cookery students using ingredients from all speakers.
